My heart is Broken

Today I attended the funeral of my human father. There is much I could say about him, but I have more to say about the nightmare that was his funeral. I knew that his wife was Christian and that the funeral would likely have a lot of prayer. My worst fears were confirmed when there was no funeral service – only a sermon.

The man that was my father never attended church. He believed in God, but was never a religious person. My beliefs came from my fairy mother, which was to be open minded about all things. We were taught to love everyone and to never judge others. I'm about to break that last part.

I watched two Baptist preachers read from the old testament. All they talked about was God and Jesus, with my father barely receiving a mention. He was an after thought. Neither preacher had ever met my father more than a couple of times. They knew absolutely nothing about him. Neither took the time to even find out the names of his family.

My family and I sat in horror at the display of disconnection and lack of empathy for anyone other than my father's selfish wife. What had even more impact were the zombies who watched the preacher with unflinching devotion. They were transfixed on words they had heard a million times. They were mesmerized by words about the wonderful caring God, with no mention of disease and starvation that fills the world.

If there was this all powerful God there would be no hunger, no disease, and no Christian father's raping daughters. There would be no child abuse. Christians hate more than anyone I have ever seen. They look down on others simply because of whom they choose to love, or their chosen lifestyle.

The Sad Fairy

This lil fairy is a little sad today:( I had heard a lot about the Tea Party human peoples and decided to visit them. I found some of the human peoples there to be really friendly, but a lot of them aren't. They aren't open much to new human people and fairies.

I had also heard they were for having less of the government peoples, but I didn't find that to be the fact. It seems they just want government to do special things for them. Maybe they are just typical human peoples and love government when it's doing the things they like.

That Romney human man that ran for the king job put down 47% of the voters and then wondered why he didn't win. It seems they don't much want gay peoples to work with them. They seem to cling to conspiracy theories and can't seem to work on solutions to basic problems. They also seem to only want to work with Christian human peoples.

Monies, Cows, and Chickens

I see a lot of people put a lot of importance on money. I can kind of understand that. A fairy doesn't need money because we kind of get everything we need from nature. Those in the magical world who need stuff do barter. I don't think human peoples understand bartering very much.

Human peoples can't provide everything they need for themselves, the same applies to the magical world. Let's say that an Elf needs a cow for milk. The cow cost ten chickens. Most cows are raised in a different village so the Elf has to haul the ten chickens to that village for trade. Most times he has to take 11 chickens because one might die on the way.

Someone decided a long time ago that gold coins were a lot easier to carry around. One gold coin is worth 10 chickens. The Elf doesn't need a wagon to carry a single gold coin with which to buy the cow. He simply sold ten chickens to a village that was closer. Sounds pretty simple doesn't it? Well it did until the Leprechauns came along.

About The Angry Fairy

Let me introduce myself, I'm A. Fairy. Lots of people think we are mythical creatures, but that's just not true. We are beings of magic and humans don't like magic much, they believe it to be evil. I have to admit we can be a little impish sometimes :)

As more and more humans inhabited the Earth we magical creatures went into hiding in a different realm. Every so  often some of us visit the human world to see how they are taking care of our old home. At least that's why I'm here. Sometimes bad things come to this world, but that's a story for another time.

I have to say I am angry at what I've found. You humans really don't get along very well. You are all the time making war and just being bad to one another. I found this magic called the internet and decided to let you people know what I see from my perspective.
